Fringe Bar hosts a number of different activities to entertain and delight Fringe Ladies. Fringe presents a number of performances each year such as Burlesque Shows, Burlesque Competitions, Poledancing competitions, Variety Nights, Cocktail and Members nights and Art exhibitions.

Fringe also hosts a range of activities for hens parties which include poledancing, belly dancing, and burlesque classes, lingerie and adult parties, and private booths and cocktail packages. Fringe can tailor your evening to suit the group and get everybody laughing. We can cater for groups from 4 to 700 in either private function rooms or a reserved table in the middle of the action.

1.Burlesque

The Rag Tag Review team and the spectacular Lena Marlene perform regular Burlesque Performances at Fringe Bar throughout the year. It is a fantastic show which includes song, dance, daring and flairing. You will be entertained and maybe even a little bashful as this talented team steam up the set in an array of colour and tassles.

Scoundrelles run private burlesque classes upstairs at Fringe bar mid week as well as burlesque hens parties. The burlesque hens parties are a great way to kick off a hens night and get everyone to know each other. Discover the resurging art form of Burlesque in our classes designed by one of Brisbane's Burlesque Queens. Fun and liberating, you’ll take home a few moves that will be appreciated by the right kind of audience.

2. Poledancing

Scoundrelles run poledancing tasters and courses mid week and Saturdays for those that want to get fit in style. The classes are held in a supportive environment you’ll be able to explore talents that you didn't know you had. Be challenged and rewarded in our pole dancing curriculum, gaining greater confidence and fitness without noticing. You'll be too busy having a good time.

3. Bellydancing

An exciting new way to celebrate a hens party is with a bellydancing class or performance. Learn the Middle Eastern Art of seduction through a private bellydancing class. It’s a great way for groups to mix and mingle and learn a trick or two for the dancefloor later. You could even add a Bollywood theme to the evening and order a tandoori platter and bubbles.

4. Art Exhibitions

Mindy Girl presents amazing Mixed Medium Art Exhibitions which exposé the talents of local artists. Mediums include paintings, drawings, music, sculpture, movement and photography accompanied by a great line up of bands and DJ’s. There are also plenty of activities to entertain from life drawing to market stalls.

5. Cocktail Party Packages

Fringe Bar function staff can tailor a hens party package to suit your needs. Whether you’re after cocktails and canapés or champagne and strawberries.
